Job Description:
A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Engineer focused on
software and algorithm development in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and verify software for clinical pipelines and
bioinformatics data analysis
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate research into
actionable clinical insights
Produce high-quality documentation for all projects and ensure
robust CI/CD patterns
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in bioinformatics analysis or software
engineering, or an advanced degree in a related field
Proficiency in Python and experience with SQL or BigQuery
Experience with software containers such as Docker
Familiarity with next-generation sequencing data and cancer
genetics, immunology, or molecular biology
Experience with cloud-based systems, specifically Google Cloud
Platform and Nextflow
