Job Description:

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Variable hours (Days, Swing, Graves) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not required to submit Certifications: BLS, RDMS (AB and OB certification helpful) Must-Have: Experience with head and neck scans and body scanning Job Description: - Flexible on shift, with options for variable hours or Friday-Sunday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. - Department equipped with 4 rooms: two for outpatient, two for inpatient - No requirement to float or cover other areas - Common imaging and studies include head and neck, whole body, and some procedures (excluding MSK or vascular) - Average of 30-40 scans/studies per day across a 10-hour shift between four techs - Utilizes Epic and McKesson PACS for EMR and imaging - Department-specific equipment includes GE and Phillips - Works under a Lead Tech with in-house radiologist support - No IV initiation required - Shifts and scheduling include 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts based on department need; set schedule with additional hours available - Minimal call requirements, with established call schedule and response time policy - Provided or personal light blue scrubs accepted per dress code - 1-2 weeks of department-specific orientation depending on experience - Hospital cancellation policy allows up to four shift cancellations per 13-week assignment - Participation in weekend call and potential holiday shifts, with options to opt-out
